I heard it from an irish band who claimed it was titled fro an American Privateer that roamed the coast of Ireland in the 18th century, but I hardly believe it's that old. I was taken by that run of triplets in the B part. The Traditional Tune Archive suggests it is a variant of the Vendome hornpipe set in F and found in Ryan's. How's it work on the banjo?

Good, I thought. I'll out it up. Thanks.
