The prob;em is that I don't have a period instrument at the time (1890 is my current oldest). The banjo that is pictured is an original 13'' minstrel banjo, that I currently consigned. It sounds interesting though.
Greetings from Bedford, neighbor. I'm not really in a band, unless you count playing guitar for the Hula School in Twinsburgh on Monday evenings, and the ocasional hula show. I'm the whole band, rather than a member. Give me some details about your band, and maybe we can get together and I'll audition. I may not be good enough for a working band. I don't have period military apparell, do you dress like your photo on stage? I do have civilian clothes, pre-1840 fur trade era, and western wear,1860-1880. What era's music do you perform?
I'm interested. We can meet at Cyber Pete's Internet Cafe in Bedford, or Solon Arabica. I'm a java junkie from way back & know where to get a cuppa joe. My home phone # is 440-439-6236. I usually get home from work about 4:30, but I have some errands tomorrow (tuesday)and will be late.
