Bob--

Welcome aboard.  I hold you soley responsible for getting me involved in this whole minstrel banjo mess all those years ago.  There are more opinions here than there are members, so there's never a dull moment.  I'll look forward to your perspective on the many topics dealt with here.

Bob-

I don't know exactly what a gift is, either, since so far I haven't received any, but I'll try to give you one just to see what happens.  Well, I tried to send you a welcome mat, but a message popped up and said I would have to pay real money to do that.  So, at least for now, just pretend I sent you a welcome mat.  After all, it's the thought that counts, isn't it?  As you may have already figured out, I haven't quite figured this all out myself.

Bob,  It is good to see you on board here.  There are many of us who owe you a debt of thanks for enabling us to start learning all of this.

Bob, I have one of your Boucher banjos and learned to play from your books. You are a god!

I bought a green pot Boucher from you and then you fixed another makers banjo for me, I will leave off the makers name.  It has been a couple of years so I can't blame you for forgetting.  Anyway Im glad your aboard as you were a big influence for my turn to Minstrel Banjo.

Ok, so your not a god -- just a darn good craftsman; that's good enough.  Thanks for your fine work on my banjo and your books/cds -- I enjoy your creations daily!

Bob,  A gift is a Ning idea, where you can "give" somebody a little picture or sentiment.  It is kind of like a greeting card.  Here is a link that explains it.

Hi Bob, welcome aboard. Listening to minstrel banjo for several years, I had no clue how it was being done. Your book cleared all that up ..... I'm very thankful!

Hi Bob, I recently bought a Sweeney banjo you made in the 90s for Carson Hudson Jr.  I've had it for just a couple weeks, but I'm absolutely in love with it.  Thank you so much!  And thanks to Carson for selling it to me!
