I liked this ensemble picture, particularly the fact that there is a banjo, a flutina and a guitar. I believe it was Elaine, at AEBG that was telling me the story of someone who refused to believe that women played guitars in the 1860s.

I have the 1861 Violin version of this book.  Exact same picture.

That's really cool Mike, I'd like to see it sometime. I have a couple of period tune books as well, we may have to have Mid Maryland gathering here soon. Messrs. Pasqurette and Hull are you listening
