Albums: C. Sherman's banjo
Thanks, Paul. Inlaying frets is always more of an adventure than it ought to be, especially when your brand new $20 burr breaks halfway through. Still, this one has perfecto intonation all the way up.
With this done, Draper steel string is finally the order of the day.
What a beauty!
Is this banjo for you, Paul?
Thanks, guys. Next up: a steel-string, a tackhead, another banjo similar to this, and a hyper-accurate Stichter reproduction from a survey of the original I took a couple years back.
Well that sounds like it'll be a wonderful new banjo, Paul!
Yeah, you chickened out of Black Creek. What's the matter, afraid of a little 40F torrential rain and hurricane winds?? Sissy! lol
