Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

I've had a good run on the book I put out earlier this year, and am getting ready for another printing. It is time to breathe and see if any changes are needed. Anyone who has the book, just chime in and let me know. Some of the things I intend to do are:

  • Get a better cover ( photo is pretty ratty )
  • Use page numbers
  • Include more repertoire with tab....most likely graded in difficulty

The cover and the photo seem just fine to me.  But your last thing- Include more repertoire with tab....most likely graded in difficulty -well that'd be great!

I'm also a fan of the fret numbers in tab (not the whole tab itself) being as large as possible- it's often hard to read the small numbers in most tabs when the book is on a chair next to you for example, or on the floor- the numbers being so small they get visually blended in with the staff lines.  Just something to keep in mind as we all write tabs.   :)

Tim, I am new to minstrel banjo and would like to buy a copy of your latest spiral bound EARLY BANJO.

Please let me know how to buy this book.   dunningjohn@hotmail.com
