The Banjo Player by William Sidney Mount

Does anyone know if the banjo depicted in "The Banjo Player" painting by William Sidney Mount
is an accurate depiction of a banjo by a known maker or is it the artists creation?
It looks a lot like a Boucher except for the peg head.
