Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

If you're coming from I-75, take the Caro exit onto M-81 and after about a half hour you drive right into Caro. Turn left at the Subway Sub Shop onto Hooper St. Go a 1/2 mi til you see the emergency sign at the hospital, turn left onto Parkway Dr which is a dead end. Just look for the cars, the 'tractor' mailbox, or the address, 1684 Parkway. If you're coming up M-24, when you get to Caro, just over a bridge, turn left onto Frank St. and go til you come to the end of Frank, turn right onto Hooper St. Go a 1/4 mi til you see the emergency sign at the hospital, turn left onto Parkway Dr which is a dead end. Just look for the cars, the 'tractor' mailbox, or the address, 1684 Parkway.

Is the big kalimba going to be there?

Should we invite her?

If you are inquiring whether to invite the big kalimba, yes, by all means.

That instrument is what stood out in my mind the most.  I had never seen one like that and it provided a good bass.

Dee Dee, the 'Marimbula' player is out west but hopefully she'll be back for Saturday. If not, my brother has a Fender Jazz Bass he runs through a Bassman slaved into a Marshall half stack. Yup, just kidding.
