Old Cremona Songster
Hey, just so you all know about this...the Old Cremona Songster of 1863 is now up in the Clubhouse.

Take a look in here for some new music we have not seen before. A fascinating look into the the politics and attitudes of a certain slice of society at this time. I did the first tune in there (Oyster Sally) and built the melody into a simple Briggs' type banjo arrangement. Perhaps we can share interpretations of more music in this book. I would not play this stuff publicly, but it's another bone in place for this Early Banjo beast we examine.
