Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Here is Sagwa, my latest build, all ready to play during my upcoming Historical Notes programs. Some of the features include an inlaid Indian Head penny to memorialize the American medicine show, carved bone nut, inlaid herringbone position markers, violin peg tuners, tacked deer hide head, replica F. B. Converse bridge, mother of pearl inlaid tailpiece, Nylgut Minstrel strings. The neck and rim were dyed for their color, and the smooth finish is the result of a twenty coat French polish technique.

For some reason, it was set to go public tomorrow morning. I went in and set it to go public at 1:00 today, hopefully it works.
