In what category of banjo styles would these be found?

I have discovered a web site that contains lots and lots of turn-of-the century banjo tune recordings.

Are any of you familiar with it? All of the recordings are in the public domain. You can find the webpage here:

These are all "Classic Banjo", that is, they're popular music played in the three-finger or "guitar style".
