Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

I'm putting up a few new tunes. They're from all over the Minstrel Map, including one from the "fresh new book" from 1863..."The Old Cremona Songster" by Frank Converse. This book, courtesy of one Marc Smith, will be up in the Clubhouse in full in a day or so. I sure hope this sparks some discussion. It's ground zero for a look into a part of America midway throught the Civil War.

Ring Boys Ring and Gilway's Hornpipe sound amazingly alike...might even be the same video, twicet! ;-)

Oyster Sally sounds very cool. Gonna be great to hear y'all work your way thru that book.
