Very nice!  Am I too being too hopeful in thinking that it might be a cut off of a third minstrel banjo CD?

No...that was part of an experiment. I was trying it at all these different tempos and rhythms. It is a tricky tune in 2/4 time, and is sort of hard to play when you think of it with only one strong beat per bar. It kind of twists around on itself when you play it fast...sort of like a musical mobius strip. I play it in with a strong 2/4 feeling now...2 beats in a bar. It works out okay. I like using the multi-track, but what are you going to do for a visual? I don't have the patience or knowledge for synching them up. That is how Davey and Meiko ended up in there. Funny part is, I have an outfit just like Davey.

I thought I would refeature this one...with some help. Slowest experimented tempo yet, with a counter melody.
