Hans Nathan describes this song as one of the earliest blends of European and primitive melodies. Scottish and English folk song elements and frequent reiteration of a short-winded motive. Very hypnotic.

This one's a gem. Nice setting, great playing. I don't think I've heard as good a rendition of this anywhere.
