Minstrel Banjo

I was playing banjo and decided to get that old dulcimer down from the wall and have a go at it. Hope ya like it Strumelia!

Yes that's always a problem, Mark.  I believe there were more hammered dulcimers around than lap dulcimers, so unfortunately if we have to guess then we'd more likely go with hammered.  Another factor is that lap dulcimers are awfully quiet in a large venue, whereas a hammered dulcimer would have a more appropriate volume and its sound would carry very well in a circus/band setting.
