Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

In commemoration of the great Frank Converse on the 106th anniversary of his death. May I add that his first professional performance was in Detroit. (chalk up another one for the Motor City) Although this one is written for "banjo style" in the Analytical Method of 1886, it certainly pushes the boundries of the fretless breed. It totally kicked my ass.

Bravo! I am totally in awe. That is an amazing piece of music, and can't imagine tackling that.

Anyone who listens to Tim play from Frank C.'s 1886/7 Analytical Banjo Method goes through an early banjo "Converse"ion. [did that pun work?] I'm still in awe.
