Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Fascinating, just the pure sound of these unique banjos we have. No two are alike.....exactly. So many small variables make the instruments distinct, and couple that with the many touches and styles we have all developed...totally unique fingerprint for each person. This is part of what I enjoy about this.

Anyway, that is what I was thinking this morning as I let those long slow notes ring out on "Old Man's Dance". Really chew on a juicy note and savor the sound when they don't run by in a flurry.

Oh ya, I can tell if it's you, or Dave Culgan, or Carl Anderton, or Greg, and I especially like the +ding+ sound that John gets.
