Huckleberry Brothers at the Folk Festival of the N.C. State Fair, Friday, Oct 12

A civil-war era string band, The Huckleberry Brothers, will be playing at the Folk Festival of the N.C. State Fair in Raleigh on Friday, October 12. Shows will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. At other times, the Bros will be playing at the Village of Yesteryear at the Holshouser Building.

The Gov. James E. Holshouser Building was built in 1971 to serve the needs of the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Year-round the Holshouser Building hosts festivals, train shows, conventions, meetings, social events, small trade shows, and many other types of events.

During the N.C. State Fair, this building becomes the Village of Yesteryear were artists and crafters in period costumes create, display and selling time-honored handmade crafts.
