The fellow second from the right (pipe-banjo-dress) Is Prince Leopold, eighth child of Queen Victoria. See - this is what happens when you go away to university. Don't you wish these guys could post a video to this site? Not sure of the exact provenance of this picture. My sister posted it on Facebook. (Go sis!)

My sister thought it was some event at university (Oxford? Cambridge?) In my mind they're getting ready to hit the stage at some student production and have been dragged outside for a photo.

One of the more important elements of this picture is the gentleman on the left  who appears to be holding a banjo and a cat!

He seems to be holding a cat statue in his right arm, and there's another cat statue in front of him, facing the camera...?

I didn't even notice all the cats. I guess this picture really does belong on the internet.
