Very nice, Jay.
this is how my banjos look in my dreams
at a recent family gathering, my sister produced the first banjo i ever made. it made me want to throw up in my mouth. the back of a neck -- a sort of amorphous polyhedron that appears to have been shaped with a blunt chisel or maybe just a hammer -- is finished with polyurethane. There are inexplicable tool marks everywhere. There are PHILLIPS screws and cracks. The string spacing at the nut seems to have been randomly arrived at. Yet at the time, it seemed like an incredibly achievement.
