This is an interesting one George was a banjoist that Converse wrote fondly of. Was one of the first to use a fretted banjo. Yet here is is with a violin.

The most fascinating part is his "costume." Here is the Minstrel depiction of the "Irish." Perhaps the reason for all those "Irish Jigs?"
