Wow, beautiful!  Did you do faux graining yourself??

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I did the graining to resemble the work that I have seen on several original Bouchers. The "Banjo Sightings Database" is a great resource available online. The book "America's Instrument, The Banjo in the Nineteenth Century" contains many excellent photos of original instruments. I was also able to get a close look at a number of Bouchers at the Banjo Collectors Conference held at Ferrum College in Virginia last year.  This is my meager attempt replicate the graining pattern.
