From the Frank Converse Analytical Method. These are really good for building technique. Follow the fingerings for maximum effect. The solid line is what Rice called a "Strike" 30 years prior.

I think I have fond a task to do today. This would make an ultimate Warm Up! No clumsy fingers after running through this a few times before playing,..hopefully!

I have been doing these daily for years. They are of great help...period. I don't want to lose sight of the fact that the original post was a segue to look at the General Exercises that follow this.

I downloaded that PDF and made a nice spiral bound book. I was still new,...still am ha ha, and shelved it, looked a t a few things but other than that that was it. i'm sure I would have eventually discovered it,...maybe next year, but gory be It popped up at a good time. Yes! Big Thanks to Tim and all of the contributors of our ever growing resources. Cheers!

Once you play these and plant that hand down, try some of the pieces in that book, paying due attention to the Combination marks in the piece. There are many simple ones. I guarantee that it will change your game. Looking back on the earlier stuff will never be the same. You'll see those moves,,,unmnarked, but jumping right out. It think this is a piece of the clawhammer / stroke puzzle.
