Yup. I thought I'd try the maple look this time. Just finished a batch of three, this one, a Stichter and a long gourd.

Rule #1 - It must look handmade.

Rule #2 - It must play and sound as good as it looks.

Rule #3 - Get some pills for your nerves, some ointment from your sore hands, and a helper ( a son, daughter, or any hobo or stray person ) to do the yucky jobs.

Beautiful!   I love the maple finish.  Looks like a really resonant pot.

 

P.S. my personal rule...

Rule #4 - I ask myself....Does this banjo make my butt look big?
