the banjo group was a REAL big help ... advised to soak the skin in water 20 minutes, and NOT stretch it, but to just tack it down lest it stretch too much.
I glued the ring top, then laid it down, tacked it into pre-drilled holes, and overnight it drew itself real tight. Couldn't have been happier, but i was biting my nails to be sure! =)
