Well, the author's bio is certainly impressive.  

"....His most recent book is The Banjo: America's African Instrument (Harvard University Press 2016), for which he received a National Humanities Center Fellowship and a Guggenheim Fellowship. He also was the recipient of a Mellon New Directions Fellowship to study Ethnomusicology. "

Yay, congrats on the new rig! I actually got a peak at some progress pics of that banjo earlier when picking Pete's brain via email.
