These tunes come from the Buckley Banjo Guide of 1868. The first one is a case where a bad title spoils a good song. Let's just call it "Frolic". The second one is "De Old Lame Horse". It is a simple tune, but executing a smooth and even nail glide can be somewhat difficult. Just a side note on this one..if anybody learned it from the Flesher Book (which is a great book) the B section is not as written in the actual Buckley Book. Possibly a small error on Bob's part, as he usually puts in a disclaimer if he adds a variation. This is just a good case for being able to read notation...otherwise, how can you totally trust a TAB transcription?
