Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

This is a fun song, both to play and sing. It is actually prewar - 1859.

Very nice. Very banjoistic. Fine looking Columbus Depot, too.

John,I love that song! I first heard it sung by Bobby Horton off of his"Homespun Songs of the CSA."Maybe we should try and play some songs from those tapes. That would be fun!Nice playing! Now I'm inspired to learn it.

Nice John. I had not heard this one. It sounds like "The Big Bad Wolf".

Thanks Tom. I really like Bobby's recordings too. He has a number of songs I want to learn, including Life on the Vicksburg Bluff, Short Rations, Gay and Happy, Old Abner's Shoes, Mister Here's Your Mule.
