Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Stewart doubleplay from "The Minstrel Banjoist".

"Roaring Jelly Jig" and "Irish Jig", the first 2 tunes from the book by Stewart. Thanks Joel, for posting this new material. Good as any jigs I've heard. Played on a Tackhead by Eric Prust - a most affordable banjo.

"Roaring Jelly" = "Smash The Windows" in Ryan's and O'Neills. So familiar sounding that I had to look it up!

Well played, as usual.

Ah, good eye (ear) there Marc. Always like to find source material when possible. I looked for the second one, but haven't seen it yet.
