Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

This popular Minstrel song is mostly played as an instrumental from The Briggs' Banjo Instructor of 1855. Funny words...leaving out the most offensive slurs as was common in those days.

Great fun, Tim, thanks for the lead. I had forgotten about Levy's site.

I'm working on it, now.

You may get some out of state visitors, depending on the date...

Any date in Feb or March is OK with me. I'm smack dab in the middle of the thumb. Exactly 2 hrs from jAnn Arbor or Lansing, 1 hr from Flint, 1/2 hr east of Saginaw. I-75 to 1/2 hr. on M-81.
