1871, played "Banjo Style"..i.e. Stroke. The highly ornamented piece comes from the Frank Converse book "The Banjoist". Note the humidity at the end...and the fine performance this Bell Banjo from Michigan provided.

Fine job. I often have trouble getting the rhythm of the ornamentations- they go by so fast, and there's several different variations of them. Thanks for playing slowly enough to hear them cleanly. This and several other Irish pieces from the '71 are in earlier tutors, sans ornaments. I think this is "O'Flarharty's Wake" or something?
