I like this version and the banjo is alive with melody, I love the snapping of the strings and the tone from Tim's Banjo.  Were most of these songs, songs for Dance? The tempo instills that image to me.

I would like to hear this at the same tempo on a Banjo set up for Classic style as well. Ripping I'm sure!

Where does the tempo come in when playing these songs, was there a general tempo or was from one extreme to the other. I heard somewhere the tempo was set basically for Dance numbers, is this correct?
