Gettysburg Banjo 3 - Old Dan Tucker

One of the centerpieces of the Minstrel Banjo repertoire. Always a joy to bring it to life.

perhaps Gettysburg would be an appropriate site for the next banjo gathering? excellent playing!

We recorded this at the spot where Pegram's Artillery Battalion was engaged during the bombardment of the Union lines prior to Pickett's ill-fated charge. Travis Franklin is playing the fiddle.

Is it legal to have so much fun?

did you have to get permission to do this by the NPS?

I have heard they give out tickets when people play music.
