Minstrel Banjo

This is an original by Frank Converse from his Analytical Banjo Method of 1886. Although there are several older elements of Minstrel Banjo in this one, I've never played one put together quite like this one. The poor fretless was begging for mercy after this one!

LOL! That was pretty crazy. Thanks for putting that video together, just shows what one can do with 'simple old stroke style'. ;-)

Can you say "cadence"? Hah! Nice Tim. Setting the bar high. Seems like that part before the cadences constituted most of the only "minstrel" style in there.
