I created the songbook when I first started doing music when I was reenacting. One of the few instruments I was playing at the time (that was portable) was a concertina in the keys of C and G. The melodies in the book are there because I find it confusing to find lyrics to a song without necessarily knowing what the melody is.

I'll probably start a discussion on the forum regarding arranging a banjo part for a given melody.

If you want a tab for "Money am a Hard Thing To Borrow," just get a copy of one of the Centerstream Minstrel Banjo publications. The tune "Jordan is a Hard Road to Travel" is in both the Briggs and Converse books, I believe.

I based my version mostly on the Phil. Rice tutor, which is not available in tab, as far as I know.
