I don't know who Mac's teacher was, but there are many on the ning classic banjo site who will. Sounds like a good meeting you had.
Glad you liked my video, but I think you are a little confused - I've never recorded Grimshaw on a 7-string, but I have recordded Grimshaw, and I have recorded a 7-string, just not at the same time. But I appreciate yout charitable comments!
