I sat down and played Lorena, and then wrote out what I was playing. You may find it a little busy, feel free to change it around as you like.

Dan, for Lorena I was tuned in standard briggs tuning - dGDF#A. If you move the bass string up to an A (open tuning) those bass notes become 2 instead of 4, and you can easily bar that chord arpeggio (it's an Em).
