Things are going well or well enough. A change of course for me. I'm now gainfully (?) employed by another and that's okay. Jobs are scarce as Minstrel Banjoists around here. How's it shakin' down sof ? Still getting your fair share of abuse from the ignoramusses?

Yes, I've noticed a decline in general historical knowledge and attendance at historic sites here, but the economy is part of the problem with the visitation. We can only hope that things improve...
Mr. Ownby,
That really Sucks bout your gig with the California Historical place. It sickens me to see the 21st century mind set put on a 19th century activity. Then when that happens they just want to forget the history because of the "racism." Are you still lookin to move here into Kansas? Also, I'd like to get a period correct tambo, but I heard that even though George Wunderlich is a great guy, he takes forever to get stuff out. If I can I'd like to try to make my own. And if I do I'm REALLY goona rosin up that head and get that roll down! And thanks for the kind words bout our playin!
O, Carl said that you had picstures of original button back pre-tied cravats. If you still have that picture, could you please send it to me?
Sorry for the late reply... that's sad to hear bout you gettin out of the hobby, but I'm glad that your standin up for authenticity! I get alot of remarks for my preiod corretness, then I just "welcome to the 1860's" anywho I will definantly get intouch with those fellas! And would you be interested in sellin your Wunder tambo?
take care,
-Cuffie

Also, I posted the song you asked for 17 days ago. It's an attachment in my reply, that day (March 12). You're welcome.
