If the pot looks egg shaped, that's because it is!! I figure, if it wants to be an oval, I'l let it be an oval and see what challenges it brings on! The fact is the pot was great until I decided to fume the oak rim and then things went all squirrelly on me. It makes for some fine character - good and old timey!

I had fun making this one. Has modern chrome hooks but just got some brass in the mail and will try to make them up and change them out before the AEGB. Still have to figure out where I am going to include my civil war token to give it some age!
