MOUNTIE BANJO & METIS FIDDLE

I saw this banjo at the Fort McLeod, Alberta Museum earlier this summer. Fort Macleod was the first North West Mounted police outpost. The banjo was supposed to have been owned by a constable there in the 1890s.
Anyone ever heard of Pollman Banjos? The fiddle is a a loaclly made instrument
