Dave with homemade banjo at private party by a lake 2014

Playing my homemade cherry wood banjo. Nice vintage tone using a cheery wood block construction with same for tone ring. I use Nylgut strings on this one (double C or open G tuning). On my gourd banjo I use Nylgut Minstrel where I use open E or double A tuning. I also cheat and use capos. :D
