I think it sounds pretty good and plays well. Of course I am a guitar player so my banjo experience is limited. Yesterday though a guy came by my office that works in our special Appalachian Collection to see it. He plays claw hammer banjo, and man he made my banjo sound awesome! He also said it played well, that meant a lot to me coming from an experienced player. Hopefully I'll learn how to play it soon! I will get a sound sample up when I can. Thanks.

Thats an absolutely wonderful looking banjo.  Now it's time to download the Briggs banjo instructor and get working on your playing.
