Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Just got a new stool. I left my other one my last trip East. Complete with butt groove, it is 17" high. It makes each performance the same...no worrys about where to sit, as in getting a chair with arms on it, or a flimsy plastic fold up chair that is ready to collapse. Ahhh

Nice little curves for the buttocks!!

It was made by a local friend.

Yes very nice! I like the design. May see if I can attempt something similar.

For me, having a stool that is exactly the same height at a performance is very important. I can walk into any situation and feel confidant that my envirommental variables will be the same. Don't have to deal with a chair with arms or a stool that is too high.

oh I know, Well I don't perform nearly as much as you, except practicing.  I can Imagine having the same throne anywhere you go is ultimately the best scenario.  Ask any Drummer, right?  I am also getting real hip to how posture has everything to do with playing more easily, I slump into guitar mode, but when I straighten up and slide the banjo where it is recommended to sit, makes all the difference, that ties right in to having a comfortable seat.
