I saw the name Clem Titus in the Emmett manuscript and it reminded me of this from Howe.

This stuff is hard as crap on a banjo. I can't imagine that many people actually played it. Just because it was in some banjo books....I don't know. I've never seen it referenced a great deal in actual playing....playbills etc.

I agreeTim lot of the stuff in these tune books is tough on fiddle too, these guys were top notch professional musicians. I'm a bit curious about Clem Titus, if he had a connection with Emmett.
