Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Here's another one for Samurai Banjo. This is a group of Japanese entertainers (acrobats, magicians, top spinners, musicians, etc.) who performed at Woodward's Gardens in San Francisco in 1869. Alas, no banjos, but a couple of shamisen players. The image was made by famed photographer Edweard Muybridge. Sayers Collection.
