This is going to be a wonderful journey. Great idea, Matt. And folks can see that the 'Rusty Water' (and dyes) enhance the grain, not cover it, like stain does. In the end, the look and FEEL really make the banjo. You're showing everyone that it's not so difficult. Cool.

Thanks for hte great compliment Terry!  Means alot to a newbie!  I hope I can do the banjo justice and make it look and eventually sound wonderful.

I really enjoy applying traditional methods to just about everything I do.  Polyurethane just scares me haha.  I do hope these photos can be a good guide for others, if not just as Terry said, a see, it ain't so hard!" motivator.
