I arranged this tune from piano sheet music for a Civil War conference I attended several years ago. It included a tour of VMI. I love the music and expanding the repertoire beyond the tutors. In my head, I can hear some really good percussion accompaniment, melody doubled on the violin, and guitar. I included the music in an attachment. Check it out!

Fabulous arrangement, and well played. Very spirited and does the piece well. It could be a welcome addition to any early banjo book. Did you write it out? I would have like to hear a solid chord or something at the key change...you know, really bust ya in the chops with the contrast.
