Ever notice how much better you get...AFTER you've shot a video and posted it?

If that's the secret, I'm gonna snag Mrs. Wanda's video camera and get good overnight! Thanks for the tip, Tim. Well, overnight, but not over TONIGHT- she 's asleep already, and I think the banjo might get us both hurt if I wake her up now.

Yea....record it post it....and then do the real thing the next day

Tim,
Nice post. That's definitely the case for me!
Along these same lines, part of the reason I post my videos (lately I've been posting mostly classic finger style) is because I'm finding the process of recording video to be functional in helping me prep for performance where you only get one shot to walk out, sit down, and play. Sometimes it'll take me 15 takes to get things down to where I have a reasonably solid performance and feel marginally comfortable posting it. Posting it feels like I've given a type of performance, which, like performance, is generally something we can't take back. It also results in getting feedback (positive and constructive) that sometimes helps me see things in my technique or hear things in my phrasing that I can rethink or improve upon.
