Sweeney Convergence!
Well, our first Sweeney Convergence went off very well and was lots of fun. I want to personally thank all of the site members who were there and contributed to the success of the event. Present were Greg Adams, Eric Andreucci, Jack Gellerstedt, James Hartel, Bryant Henderson, Rob Morrison, James Pentecost, Michael Randolph, Sule Greg Wilson, and David Wooldridge. (Hope I didn't leave anyone off?). We look forward to another great Convergence next year. If you took any photo's or videos of this weekend, please post and share them with the site. My thanks to Mark and David for organizing such a wonderful event. We all had a blast, and, as far as I know, nobody ran afoul of the law. The jams were non-stop, the presentations and exhibits were world class, the general public ate it all up, and it happened on one of the most beautiful historic sites in the country. Yes, most of the people attending were banjo players, but I guess that couldn't be helped. Thanks to all.--Rob
