Is anyone playing anywhere this summer? If so, please keep me updated. I would love to see how the "giggers" do it. Also, If you are playing outside or where it is humid, I hear that mink oil on the head and strings (if de strings is de gut) keep them from sinking. Anyone try this?

A bunch of us will be playing at the Antietam gathering at the end of June.  That is a great place to see a variety of different players.  If you want to come to Chicago, Elaine and I have an outdoor gig on May 26.  In addition, we will be playing at  a number of different reenactments in our area.
